Cirstea vs Riske Citi Open Trade

Cirstea vs Riske Citi Open trade.

Here is my first North American trade of the week and a WTA one since a long time. I was around the PC when I saw that Romanian, Sorana Cirstea was in trouble against local Alison Riske. Well, my PC was not open and with my trading platform activated accidentally. I did not have time for trading the entire day so I checked the evening matches (Europe time) and knowing Cirstea all to good I decided to keep an eye on her performance. As soon as she went 4-2 I layed her for a medium amount. I added a little more when she lost the set after losing another service game.

Second set was a swinger at the start but I managed to hold my nerves. Sorana eventually tied the score at one set all and I closed a part of my position. I could not wait more, did not want to risk more and close the remaining stake at 3-3 in the deciding set. I wasn’t sure which way this would go. It proved immediately that I took the wrong decision. Cirstea hold for 4-3, broke for 5-3 and closed this 2013 Citi Open, second Round match, with her next service game.

The green figure shows $50 and I just just managed to take a print-screen. I can close my machine now, it’s been a long day. I will try to post tomorrow another educative article in the tennis trading pedia category.
