Verdasco vs Almagro ATP Bastad Trade

verdasco vs almagro atp bastad trade

Verdasco vs Almagro ATP Bastad trade.

The 2013 SkiStar Swedish Open is unfolding this week in Bastad and I’ve already managed to successfully trade two Men’s Singles matches. Both of them involved the Spanish player Nicolas Almagro. Today’s trade was a quarterfinal meeting between Verdasco and Almagro. As you should know, Verdasco has caught a good summer wave and he is producing some good results again. After almost upsetting the future Wimbledon Champion, exactly one week ago during the SW19 quarters, Fernando has managed to reach a second back-to-back semi final in Bastad. He won today a hard fought encounter 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.

Verdasco usually tends to choke during the final stages of the match and it seemed that history would repeat itself as he failed to close the match in 2 sets, and lost a break of serve advantage in the 3rd set. But somehow he found his aces again and had a strong hold a 4-5, to break the next game and close the match with a love service game.

My profit for this match is around $36. It could have been more significant but I saw myself in the situation of cutting profits short, towards the end of the 3rd set.

almagro vs garcia lopez trade

Almagro vs Garcia Lopez Swedish Open trade.

Nicolas Almagro brought me $38 more yesterday. I did not think that I would be able to find many trading opportunities in his encounter with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, however I couldn’t abstain myself from opening a position in the market after Lopez took a 5-0 lead in the opening set. Almagro did not look injured and even if he could not manage to fully turn the match around I was almost sure that he will cause problems in the 2nd set. He even recovered from the first set but couldn’t fully overturn the 5-0 deficit. I traded out after the 2nd set as I had to leave my computer. Almagro won 3-6, 6-1, 6-1.
